NP Dodge REALTOR® Evelyn Martinez Honored with 2026 Civic Nebraska Community Builder Award
Fremont, NE — September 18, 2026 — NP Dodge Real Estate is proud to congratulate Evelyn Martinez on receiving the 2026 Community Builder Award from Civic Nebraska. The honor recognizes Nebraskans who demonstrate exceptional care, leadership, civic engagement and commitment to strengthening their communities.
Martinez was officially recognized at Civic Nebraska’s 2026 Strengthening Democracy Awards on September 17 at Delray 817 in Lincoln, joining fellow Nebraska honorees recognized for their contributions to civic life and their communities.
According to Civic Nebraska, Martinez was selected for the Community Builder Award for building trusted connections among Fremont residents, organizations and essential resources, particularly for families facing language and cultural barriers.
A longtime community advocate in Fremont, Martinez has dedicated her career to connecting residents with important resources and creating opportunities for greater community involvement. Her work includes serving as a bilingual Community Health Worker, founding Comunidad Unida de Fremont NE, volunteering with Fremont Area Habitat for Humanity and helping establish the Fremont Hispanic Festival.
Martinez's community involvement also includes work with the Fremont Chamber's Hispanic Council, Spanish Networking Group, the Salvation Army and other local boards, organizations and collaborative initiatives.
